Where can I download the LiTime App?

The LiTime App is available for free on both the Apple App Store for iOS devices and the Google Play Store for Android devices.

How do I activate my new Bluetooth battery?

To ensure safety during shipping, batteries with a capacity under 100Ah are sent in a shutdown state. To activate your battery and its Bluetooth function for the first time, you must connect it to a compatible charger for 3-10 seconds.

Required Charger: Use a LiFePO4 charger or an MPPT charge controller that has a lithium battery activation feature.
LiTime Equipment: All LiTime chargers and MPPTs include this activation functionality. If you do not have a compatible charger, we recommend purchasing one with your battery.

What information can I see in the LiTime App?

The app provides a comprehensive overview of your battery's health and status. On the details page, you can monitor:

Status Monitoring: The app shows whether the battery is charging, discharging, or on standby. It also provides an estimated time until the battery is fully charged or discharged.Note: A negative sign (-) next to the power and current values indicates the battery is discharging.
Battery Control: You can remotely turn the battery's discharge switch on or off.
Firmware Updates (OTA): Receive over-the-air updates to the Battery Management System (BMS) to improve performance and add features.

Can the app monitor a whole system of connected batteries?

Yes. When you connect multiple batteries in series or parallel, the app automatically detects the system and displays its total combined data, including the system's overall voltage, current, power, and remaining capacity.

⚠️ Important: Connection Requirements for Battery Banks
For a safe and balanced system, all batteries connected together must be:

The Same Model: Use the exact same LiTime battery model, capacity (Ah), and BMS rating (A).
The Same Brand: Never mix brands. Each manufacturer uses a unique Battery Management System (BMS) that is not compatible with others.
Purchased Recently: All batteries should be purchased within one month of each other to ensure they are from the same manufacturing batch.
Voltage-Matched: Before connecting, fully charge each battery individually and ensure their voltages are within 0.1V of each other to prevent damaging inrush currents.

Can I check the status of each individual battery in my system?

Yes. On the system overview page, each battery will display a status icon:

Green Dot: The battery is online and operating normally.
Red/Orange Dot: The battery has an alert or an abnormal status. Tap on it to see detailed information about the issue.
❗️ Exclamation Mark: The app cannot retrieve data from the battery, likely due to a Bluetooth connection issue. Tap on it for troubleshooting steps.

Does the Bluetooth automatically reconnect?

Yes. If your phone goes out of the Bluetooth range (approx. 33 ft / 10 m, depending on your environment), the app will automatically reconnect once you are back within range.

Can I add a battery to the app without an internet connection?

Yes. If you are offline, the app will prompt you to add the battery manually. Simply enter the serial number (SN) printed on the battery's label to add it to your device list.
