Run Time (hours) = Battery Capacity (Ah) / Current (A)
The higher the discharge rate (amount of current/amps being drawn from the battery), the shorter the duration it will last.
For example:
A 200Ah battery discharging at just 10A could theoretically last around 20 hours. Discharging at 50A would last only around 4 hours.
The BMS boards are different. The 200Ah battery uses a 100A BMS, which can accept a maximum continuous charge/discharge current of 100A. The Plus version uses a 200A BMS, which can accept a maximum continuous charge/discharge current of 200A.
Yes. LiFePO4 is an inherently safe chemistry and the most stable lithium-type battery on the market. LiTime lithium cells are UL certified for the highest safety and sustainability standards. All LiTime LiFePO4 batteries come with an internal Battery Management System which protects against under-voltage during discharge, over-voltage during charge, over-current during discharge, over-temperature during charge and discharge, and short-circuit protection – protects battery cells from damage. Additionally, LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries have been tested to be free from the risk of fire, and electric shock in harsh environments.
No. This battery is not compatible with the Bluetooth module. You can use a Battery Monitor to keep track of battery status.
For a fully integrated solution, our LiTime Bluetooth Battery Series allows you to track everything directly from your phone.
No. LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries are not intended to be used as starting batteries but energy storage, please do not use them to start any devices.
There are three primary methods to charge your LiTime battery:
1. Using Solar Panels
With at least 800W of solar panels, you can typically charge the battery in a single day, assuming 4.5 hours of effective peak sunlight. However, charging time will vary depending on weather conditions, sun intensity, and the angle of your panels.
2. Using a Generator or Alternator
The connection method depends on your generator or alternator's output type:
3. Using a LiFePO4 Smart Charger
This is the most direct method. To ensure optimal performance and longevity for your 12V battery, we recommend using a dedicated 14.6V LiFePO4 smart charger.
(For Generator/Alternator and Smart Charger Methods)
It is recommended to disconnect the charger from the battery or unplug the charger plug from the socket when the storage battery is fully charged. Otherwise, it may cause the battery BMS to trigger overcharging protection.
If BMS protection is frequently triggered, the BMS will be damaged over time, leading to degradation of the battery system performance or even damage.
LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge between 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C). LiTime 12V 200Ah lithium battery doesn't have low-temperature protection, so it suggest to charge the 12V 200Ah deep cycle battery indoor.
For optimal longevity, store your LiTime LiFePO4 batteries under the following conditions:
For storage exceeding three months, adhering to these guidelines will significantly preserve your battery's health and performance:
