Best Replacement to Lead-Acid Battery
Lighter, safer and longer lifespan. The LiTime lithium battery is built with automotive-grade LiFePO4 cells, providing higher energy density and more dependable performance.
4 Fast Charging Ways
The battery can be charged by LiFePO4 lithium battery charger, solar panel, alternator with DC-DC charger and generator with AC-DC charger.
Back by Professional Testing and Certification
LiTime lithium batteries are certified by UL, FCC, CE, RoHS & UN38.3
Precautions to Take
1. Please don't use the battery for golf carts.
2. As deep cycle battery, don't use it to start the engine.
3. When connecting the batteries in series or parallel, make sure they are of the same brand, type, voltage, amps, BMS and within 1 month.
4. Charge temperature: 32℉ to 122℉
Discharge Temperature: -4℉ to 140℉
Storage Temperature: 14℉ to 122℉
A LiTime LiFePO4 lithium battery can be used for 4000-15000 life cycles. Depending on usage this can be 10 years or more. Lead acid and AGM get roughly 300-500 life cycles before their capacity is reduced substantially. Therefore, even though there is more upfront cost with a LiTime LiFePO4 Battery, the upgrade saves you big over time.
It’s more about what your priorities are. LiTime LiFePO4 lithium battery has about twice the useable capacity as lead acid and AGM batteries. So, if your goal is to get more usable battery time (Amps) then you should upgrade to a battery with the same Amps (or more). I.e. if you replace a 100amp battery with a LiTime 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery, you will get about double the usable amps, with about half the weight. If your goal is to have a smaller battery, much less weight, or less expensive. Then you can replace the 100amp battery with a LiTime 12V 50AH LiFePO4 Lithium Battery. You will get about the same usable amps (time), it would cost less, and it’s about 1/6 the weight. Refer to the spec sheet for dimensions or email us with further questions or custom needs
Yes. LiFePO4 is an inherently safe chemistry and the most stable lithium-type battery on the market. LiTime lithium cells are UL certified for the highest safety and sustainability standards. All LiTime LiFePO4 batteries come with an internal Battery Management System which protects against under-voltage during discharge, over-voltage during charge, over-current during discharge, over-temperature during charge and discharge, and short-circuit protection – protects battery cells from damage. Additionally, LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries have been tested to be free from the risk of fire, and electric shock in harsh environments.
No. LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries are not intended to be used as starting batteries but energy storage, please do not use them to start any devices.
A:
Yes, you can charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels. Here are 3 reliable ways to charge
1. Using Solar Panels
The LiTime 12V 50Ah battery can be fully charged by in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5hrs/day) by 200W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥200W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.
2. Generator/Alternator
If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations.
The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V. The Recommended Charging Current: ① 10A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 25A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.
3. LiFePO4 Smart Chargers
To charge 12V battery, it is recommended to use 14.6V battery charger.

LiFePO4 lithium batteries can safely charge between 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C). The LiTime 12V 50Ah lithium battery doesn't have the low-temperature charging off protection. Please charge the battery indoor when in winter. I recommend visiting LiTime cold-weather batteries, which are equipped with low-temperature charging-off protection.
It is recommended to store LiTime LiFePO4 batteries at 50% state of charge (SOC). If the batteries are stored for long periods, recharge the batteries at least every 3 months. Recommended storage environment: 10℃~35℃ (50℉~95℉),45%RH~75%RH
